Updated Update Had my first day of training today which went super well and I love the place already. In a fabulous turn of events I also have another job interview this afternoon as well, at a pet supply store. Got the phone call yesterday literally the moment I stepped out of the shower, and they wanted me to come in as soon as I could today. Needless to say I'm on cloud nine because this means I'll most likely have my vehicle by the end of this summer, which means I can start considering litters to put a down payment on for my next sport prospect. Exciting things going on here lately. I'll be back from my hiatus very soon too, working on something big to open with.
Update My interview was super easy (I love interviewing, I'm a very social person) and went extremely well. Afterwards they made sure I knew working in the gardening department wasn't just working with pretty flowers, apparently some people don't realize gardening includes things like soil, compost, bedrock, and even tools. Idiots. They also asked if I'd be open to learning how to use a forklift and being certified for it. I couldn't say 'absolutely' fast enough!
They said I'd hear from them by the end of the week, but surprise surprise, they called me this afternoon and said I had the job! Super excited~ I did go afterwards and put in another application to the local pet store. While chatting with the employees they said I was a really good fit for them too, and a few of them offered to put in a good word for me. So hey, I might have two jobs soon instead of the previous zero! Awww yissss~ Now I'm off to celebrate by hitting level 50 in Borderlands 2 with my Siren and scarfing down a ridiculously delicious bacon burger.
Expect StromHaus to start working dogs again in the near future!
So I had a phone interview today, and have an in person interview tomorrow morning.
This whole hiatus thing might be way shorter than I expected.
A+ for me.
I'm still looking for another part time job though to work alongside this one.
Puppies and club dues aren't cheap after all.
